USF2000: ArmsUp Motorsports Announces Entry into 2012 Title Fight

ArmsUp Motorsports, the reigning SCCA Club Racing National Champion team, have announced their intentions to enter the USF2000 Series Championship in 2012.

Wisconsin-based ArmsUp Motorsports, which ran the 2011 Cooper Tires Winterfest series and selected USF2000 races over the last two seasons, is set to enter the Mazda Road to Indy ladder system full-time in 2012.

The team is currently in negotiations with several different drivers and is aiming to have their driver lineup finalized shortly after the start of the New Year. The team is also currently searching for talented mechanics for the 2012 championship, with interested parties asked to submit resumes to ArmsUp team manager Brent Borland via email at bborland@armsupmotorsports.com


Formed in 1995, ArmsUp Motorsports is one of the premier SCCA Formula Continental and Formula Atlantic racing teams. This past season, the squad secured its inaugural SCCA Formula Continental National Championship, with Revere Greist winning the SCCA National Championship Runoffs at Road America.

the 2012 edition of the Cooper Tires Presents the USF2000 National Championship Powered by Mazda gets underway on March 16-17, as part of the 60th Anniversary Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring.
