Menards hosting Race Fest near Elko track Friday

The next ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards event on the schedule is the Akona 250 presented by Federated Car Care Saturday, June 1.Drivers and teams have already started motoring toward Minnesota. In fact, on Friday, several teams and drivers – and their transport haulers – will be appearing at the Menards store in nearby Burnsville for the Menards Race Fest. The event is being hailed as the “Big Rig Event.” Nine-time ARCA Racing Series champion and current point leader Frank Kimmel, driver of the Ansell-Menards Toyota for ThorSport Racing, is among the drivers committed to attending the event, being held from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Burnsville store at 2700 Highway 13 West.
