Ross Kenseth Awarded CRA Win at Plymouth

Eddie Hoffman was disqualified for his left-side weigh after winning Sunday's race at Plymouth Speedway (IN)

The day started with light rain at Plymouth Speedway as storms moved through Indiana delaying practice for the CRA 125. Following the rain came the sun and hot weather as the racing heated up. Drivers showed short fuses as many banged and beat each other during the early part of the race leaving Eddie Hoffman in the lead when drivers in front of him were put to the rear on two occasions. The race started with Tyler Roahrig and Terry Fisher, Jr. on the front row. Roahrig took the early lead on his home track, with Boris Jurkovic close behind. Jurkovic took the lead with Roahrig hanging close and getting the lead back after one caution but he could not hold as Jurkovic had the car to beat early.

Jukovic and Fisher fought for the lead trading it several times before they tangled, Jurkovic spun and they were both sent to the tail. Hoffman was left as the leader, and he lead the rest of the way.

However his car did not pass post race tech. He was disqualified and race went to Kenseth. Derrick Griffin second, Fisher, Jr. third, Aaron Pierce fourth and Scott Hantz fifth.
