Nate Caruth Claims Strong 4th Place Finish in PASS Race At Anderson Motor Speedway

The Midwestern native brings a solid 4th place finish home in his #19 Brad Keselowski Racing (BKR) Checkered Flag Foundation Dodge. Caruth said, “We qualified 9 th, re-drew 10th, and were running in the top 10 for the first 50 laps.” Caruth then began picking the field off left and right, as he moved into the top 5.

Cautions began peeking through towards the end of the race, as the competition continued to line up for restarts. Caruth said, “We were running third, but on one of the last re-starts of the race we battled the field, and held on for a fourth place finish.”

The unique design of the track brought close, competitive short track racing; as fans were additionally treated to the Zambelli fireworks show presented by Bio Specialists.

Caruth’s crew chief Seth Holbrook said, “We had a good practice, and showed strong potential for the race. We continued to tweak the car; getting Nate comfortable for the feature.” Caruth added, “We had a really competitive car for Tuesday’s race.”

Caruth said, “The crew works well together. We learned a lot from this race weekend, and will continue on our path to a championship.”

The team continues to build on their BKR Checkered Flag Foundation Dodge program as they move forward in the schedule. Team manager Gary Crooks said, “Nate is racing for top 5 finishes each week, and exceeding our goals.” Caruth said, “I am happy about our 4th place finish. I have a strong team, and we will continue to fight for wins and top five finishes.”
