Solid Finish For Nate Caruth At Toledo's Fast Half Mile

Nate Caruth delivers another solid finish for his #76 Ford Lorz Motorsports team with a 13th place result.

Caruth was achieving the dream finish when he started 27th in the ARCA/CRA Super Series 7 Up 100, and worked his Brella Sports Group, Caruth Construction, Carroll Construction Supply #76 Ford up to 7th position.

Eleven laps to go, Caruth had picked the competition off left and right. The checkered flag was in sight, as Caruth was caught in the mix of an un-foreseen wreck in front.  The team persevered after a red flag stop to get Caruth's car out to battle the field. He came up swinging, and gained several positions in a short matter of laps; ending his night with an applauding 13th place.

Car owner Mike Lorz said, "Nate did a great job, and I am very proud of him. He is still young and learning, but he has what it takes. Our car got caught up in a wreck, but sometimes in racing they are unavoidable. "

Toledo Speedway's fast half mile served up another competitive field to fans, as Sunday's 100 lap feature offered plenty of challenges to the drivers who seeked the dual . As with every test, there offers opportunities to learn and grow.  Caruth said, "I did really well with saving my equipment. The team did a great job making the changes necessary. As a team, we overcame obstacles that the race presented.  Overall it was a descent weekend."  Crew chief Dan Lorz added," The team moved forward this weekend, with progress made through practice and finishing the race strong."

Caruth continues to lead in Rookie of the Year standings, as he continues his battle path throughout the 2012 ARCA/CRA Super Series Season.
