Polenz Prepares for 2012 Season at Old Dominion

Ryan Polenz, 17 year old driver out of Flemington, New Jersey, aims for his first Old Dominion Speedway championship.

Ryan Polenz, 17 year old New Jersey native, will attend the season opener at Old Dominion Speedway Saturday in search of another year trying to gain the track championship in the Legends Semi-Pro division.

Last year Polenz claimed the Semi-Pro championship, but fell thirty-eight points shy of receiving the entire track championship in the legends class, ending third in overall points.

“I won’t leave Old Dominion until I have a track championship in my hand,” Ryan said in summary to last years results.

Polenz attended both of the tracks open practices holding fastest time in each.

“I feel like both weeks of practice went great and we are ready to go racing,” Polenz said.
