Lee Faulk Racing showed up to Media Day at Hickory Motor Speedway with a new driver and a new car. Pietro Fittipaldi tested his brand new Marlowe Chassis for the first time this past Saturday. With minimal laps on the new car and engine the team was very happy with the overall performance and will be back to do some more testing for the 100 lapper this week. Fittipaldi also picked up Mobil 1 as a sponsor for this season making a nice addition to his previous sponsors Garoto, Polishop and Sofisa.

"Pietro did great his first time in a late model stock and with a new car. He is as smooth now as he was at the end of the year last year and im looking forward to making a run at another championship with him this year," crew chief, Michael Faulk said.

Another new face of LFR, Christian Calvo, also tested his #5 limited late model at Media Day. Calvo has earned the praise of his team and teammates early in the 2012 season through consistent and fast laps day in and day out through testing. Calvo is sponsored by Mindeporte and Venezuela and is close friends with former LFR driver Nelson Canache Jr. who has moved on to run a full ARCA season with LFR partner Venturini Motorsports.

"2012 looks to be turning out to be a great one for our team, fans, and sponsors. With talent like Pietro, Christian and Andres, it's up to us to develop their skillset and make them the best they can be. We have spared no expense to make sure all of our drivers have the best equipment we can buy and have all the tools they need to be sucessful in this endevor," Faulk said.
