NASCAR K&N Pro Series West Star Nursery 200 June 2 at the Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway

The NASCAR K&N Pro Series West returns to the Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Saturday, June 2 for the second annual Star Nursery 200.

Local high school student Dylan Kwasniewski is among the favorites to win this year’s event. The 16-year old Las Vegan finished second to teammate Greg Pursley in the 2011 K&N Series race at the Bullring. He is the current points leader in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West and is the first driver to capture more than one win in the series this year. He scored a victory earlier this month at Stockton (Calif.) 99 Speedway and was credited with a win as the top finishing West driver in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East-West combination race at Iowa Speedway in Newton, Iowa last Saturday.

The June 2 race night also will include the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series (NASCAR Super Late Models, NASCAR Super Stocks and NASCAR Bombers) and USLCI American Band Legends Cars and USLCI Silver Star Plumbing Bandoleros. Spectator gates will open at 4 p.m. Fans may save money by purchasing tickets in advance by calling LVMS at (702) 644-4444 or online at www.LVMS.com. The Bullring’s concession stand offers a family-friendly dollar menu, featuring $1 hot dogs and $1 Coca-Cola products. Parking always is free.
