Drivers Lined Up to the Road At GMP for Season Opener

The first race of the season at Gresham Motorsports Park is finally here! Open Practice for Mini Stocks, Sportsman, Renegades, Trucks, Outlaw Late Models and Pro Late Models will be today from 4pm until 8pm and it is FREE to the public. Then, tomorrow at 11am, the gates will open for one of the most anticipated days of the year at GMP- The Beau Slocumb Memorial Presented by US Auto Sales.

Some of Short Track racing's hottest drivers are already lined up at GMP's gates including Max Gresham, Chase Elliott, Cody Coughlin, Kristen Wallace, Spencer Davis, Dalton Grindle and more! With so many talented drivers, the Beau Slocumb Memorial Presented by US Auto Sales is sure to be one of the most exciting races of the season! Advance tickets are on sale today ONLY for $25 (or $30 at the gate on Saturday). There will be a Senior/Military discount and all kids 12 and under are FREE! Unless you have a reserved trackside parking space for the year, trackside paring will be sold on a first come first serve basis.   Trackside parking spaces are still available to be reserved for the season. The Easter Bunny will be at GMP to take pictures with kids on Saturday. Also, get here early with the kids for the 2nd-Annual Helicopter Easter Egg/Candy drop, which will include candy, t-shirts, coupons, CASH and MORE! The Helicopter will drop the prizes on the front straight away at 4:25pm-so don't be late!
 
Kipper Tool will be selling raffle tickets for Autographed NASCAR souvenirs, Power Tools, Spa Packages, and MORE! Buy your tickets Saturday at GMP for your chance to win! Tickets are 5 for $20 and drawings will take place at each race until the Commerce Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram World Crown 300 on July 4th (do not have to be present to win).
 
Opening Ceremonies will begin at 5:25pm and 14 year-old Nashville Recording Artist, Kayla Leigh Armstrong, will be singing her own music before singing the National Anthem.
