New owner for the USAR Pro Cup Series

USA Racing would like to officially announce the transition of ownership and administration of the Series. In January of 2011 Chip Lofton became the sole owner of the Series.

As you all know keeping the Series alive has been a challenge and remains so today. At this time Mr. Lofton has chosen to change his focus from the ownership and the day to day operations of the Series to spend more time on the promotion of the Series through TV production and, of course, his Strutmasters Company.

Effective immediately, I will take over the reins of the day to day operations. Our intent is to continue through the remainder of the 2011 season striving for ultra successful events in order to produce quality TV productions to use to seek sponsorship for 2012 and beyond. The success of this Series depends not only on leadership from the Series but also from our competitors. It is vital that our car counts are between 18-22 cars per race in order to have successful events. Your participation and support are greatly appreciated.

The operation center for USA Racing will now be located in Mooresville, North Carolina.

I would like to thank Chip for all his hard work, time and money spent in order to get the Series to this point. We are at a crossroads and it will take the cooperation of all us to keep this Series in operation.
